Our Story
At Hill Country Fence, our story starts with hard work, a small crew, and a vision for quality.
Lee got his start in the fence industry back in the late 1980s as a teenager, learning the ropes from the ground up. By 1991, he founded Hill Country Fence with a simple goal: provide dependable, custom fencing built to last. What began as a handful of guys setting posts and stretching wire has grown into a trusted name throughout the Texas Hill Country — and many of those same crew members are still with us today.
Over the years, we’ve tackled just about every type of project you can imagine: high-game fencing for ranches, custom wood privacy fences for homes, durable chain link for neighborhoods, and everything in between. No matter the size or style, our focus has always been the same - quality craftsmanship, honest service, and fences that stand the test of time.
More than three decades later, Hill Country Fence remains family-owned, just on a larger scale. We’ve grown to include project managers and a dedicated team we couldn’t do without, but our core values haven’t changed. We’re still community-minded, still committed to excellence, and still proud to serve our neighbors. We don’t just build fences — we build trust, one project at a time.
